I had a batholin cyst removal done 2 weeks ago (on tuesday) and I am still pretty swollen, and in quite a bit of pain.  It still hurts to walk and to sit properly, plus I'm still discharging ALOT, to the point of having to wear pads.  I am following up with my primary doctor on Monday, since my OBGYN can't get me in to the office in until the end of the week.  I was just wondering if this was normal? Or if there could possibly be a problem with the sutures, or maybe an infection?  I've tried hot baths, ice packs, and anything else I could possibily think of to help with the pain.  It's getting to the point of where I can't even sleep throughout the night!  When I called my OBGYN, they did put me on antibiotics, which didn't help me at all.

Any ideas?  I've searched the internet all over, but haven't found any answers.
