Strange symptoms after getting off Depo Provera - Part 2

I've been on drop for 22 years I stopped about 15 months ago I have had no adverse reactions while on it or off of it I'm 48
I was told I had osteopena in my hips but I also had low vitamin d waiting for next bone density remember what works for you may not work for others and everything has a side effect

I have been on and off the depo shot since i was 19, i am now going to be 30 this year. I went off the shot around 23 took me 6-10months to get cycle and then I got pregnant, I ended up having a miscarriage. and got pregnant again a year or so later and was successful, after i had my son in 2014 i went back on the depo at my 6 week. and have been on it since Oct. 2017 and i thought i would give my body a break and get off. well know my body is having all kinds of crazy withdraw feelings. Breast sore, crazy headaches, I have yet to get my period back yet. I am thinking about going back on the depo the worst thing I had on the depo was weight gain!

i was put on the injection due to finding out i had fibroids. i thought my endometriosis was getting worse as my period pain was needing more and more pain killers. i became very unwell that coincided around the time getting the injection. shortness of breath, blood pressure rising and tachycardia. my doctor had no idea what was wrong. was ill for a year, shifted and saw a new doc who said i also had a womb infection that was causing my white blood cell count to rise as well as my liver. i had yellow patches on my face. had a laperoscopy last july and fibroids have more than doubled in size so they put the mirena in. all through the injection i was spotting constantly but since coming off and being on the mirena im getting pain with the spotting. 2 months after stopping injection i bled for 1 day for 3 months, oct nov and dec. this year.. nothing and its march now just spotting. im due next week to have a hysterectomy this may be my chance to have a pain free life for the first time since periods started when i was 11... im 44 now and looking forward to not having to have these drugs in my body

I have the same symptoms you do, I'm so very relieved, my left boob got bigger and the right one won't grow with it and they both get very firm full and they hurt..also I have the increased sex drive but it's horrible, I think of sex all day long..I have never done that before, I have been celibate the whole 3 years I've been on it with no urge for sex whatsoever..I have found myself to have MULTIPLE fetishes I have never had before like orgys..I have to get off multiple times a day or I will go nuts..and the fetishes are increasing in numbers which makes me feel horrible about myself...so wierd for me but I want sex that bad..and now it makes me feel like sh*t because I don't sleep around, I haven't had a boyfriend for 3 years either so I've been on depo for nothing, I got on it just in case I met someone...I don't know what to do. My body doesn't hurt but my breasts hurt and almost feel like the full tight feeling you get before mastitis while breast feeding just not as intense..however it's an on and off thing with my breast problem, it was to the point the left one was big and hot and bursting out of my bra(I'm a 32a btw) so I went and had a breast cancer ultrasound test because me and my family were so worried.. can anyone help me or tell me if their sex drive was or is the same?and if they got pregnant easier because of their body reacting in this way?And also while I was on depo I would always wait a week or two, sometimes a week late to get my shot because the exact date I was supposed to get it, I would start bleeding and keep bleeding until I got the shot, then the next day all bleeding stops

hello everyone i had my first depo shot at april 27,2018 s and now i am having a menstrual bleeding for almost 1 week is this normal? is this the sign that my depo wear off?

I went on depo when 20 and absolutely loved it. No periods, little worry. It's hard to tell if there were any side-effects in the beginning- there was a lot going on at the time. I was on it until 26 and loved it the whole time. I knew about the possibility of an 18-month delay in getting pregnant so we didn't even try until I'd been off 18 months and had absolutely no problem getting pregnant. I did have a hard time keeping the pregnancies, but that was likely due to stress, not the shot. Lowered the stress and had a very healthy baby. Stayed off the shot because we wanted to go hormone free while breastfeeding then decided to get pregnant again and again decided not to take the shot until finished feeding.

Took the shot again at 30. Completely different story than first time. I hated it. My body went crazy. I gained 15 pounds in a month, got stressed and yelled a lot and depressed. I was miserable. Then I bled for 2 months straight. I never went to get the second shot and have sworn off any hormonal birth control. I never had issues loosing baby weight, but this I can't get off! Just a single dose is still throwing me off months after it's supposed to have worn off. Still moody and stressed and low sex drive and chubby. IWhen I got off immediately I'd have a 7-day period start every 12 days. Now my overies are out of sync. My cycle goes 16 days, 31 days, 18 days, 30 days, 17 days... Now I'm having crazy-weird pregnancy symptoms, in spite of the fact we're very careful. Queasy for a month, swelling so my rings don't fit, can't park well anymore (yeah, a weird one, but I get it every time I'm pregnant,) queasy, and temper flares. The symptoms snuck up on me and I didn't notice till my husband asked if I was and I thought he was silly till I sat down and added it all together. It was concerning enough to take a test, but it's nothing. I'm guessing it's still the left-over hormones.

My first time on it I absolutely loved it. My second time was a nightmare. Maybe it's the age difference, maybe it's because I've experienced pregnancy. I don't know what it is, but it's been crazy.

Oh yeah, and when I got it at 30 I began lactating again. I hadn't fed for months and had dried up, but began producing again!

How did you feel when you or your period back after 1 year I have so much pain in sick to my stomach my back hurt so bad nd in bleeding so light I can wear a pantiliner I just feel so sick inside how long before this feeling went away and did you experience this please help
