Hi! My dad is diabetic. Of course, he's on common diabetic diet. But he read in some magazine about strict potassium and phosphate diet and he thinks now that they are necessary for his condition. I heard from my friend that these diets are just for people with diabetic nephropathy. Am I right? Are they necessary in diabetic nephropathy?
