When i've conducted an x-ray for my medical in my job, they said that there is suspicious oppacities in my upper right lung. What does it mean? They required me to undergo apicolordotic. Is it also possible that the oppacities seen in my lungs is my scar on my previous lung illness which is now healed.  Thanks.

Hi Izia,

Lung tissues normally show as clear on an x-ray.  Suspicious densities mean that an image appears in the x-ray where it shouldn't.

Scarring from a previous infection such as TB is permanent.  It will never clear.

Apilocolordotic view is just another x-ray that better images the upper portion (apex) of the lungs.

Good luck.
