I have had tendinitis and bursitis in my shoulder for four months now, and just last week I received a cortisone shot from my doctor. He told me not to do anything physical for 2 weeks, and that other than the first 2 days I should not feel pain. However I have been having very intense pains in my shoulder, and I have been taking anti-inflammatory drugs and putting ice on my shoulder. I'm not sure why I'm having this , and I have been wondering if the shot wasn't effective. Is this normal with cortisone shots? Or should I go see my doctor again?

When I started working out, I developed tendonitis in my elbows and left shoulder. It disappeared after I started using desiccated liver powder. One tablespoon a day, dissolved in a little fruit juice should do the trick. Take it 4 to 6 times a week. You may also want to try Dr. Joel Wallach's supplements.
