THD procedure 2 weeks ago. Severe pain and contractions on week one. Sooo painful to pass a bm. Clutching the towel rail and screaming. Things started to calm down on week 2 but still lots of aching especially if on my feet or after a bm. I am so worried that this pain will never go away. Please can somebody reassure me as I am feeling very despondent. The surgeon said I should be back at work within one week but that is just impossible. The first week is horrendous. Any comments appreciated if you have had this procedure. Thank you
