I recently had some seriously irregular periods, close to 5 months without, combo of several major stresses and last 2 or 3 was me going without taking the sugar pills and starting a new pack without allowing my period to come. So to try to fix it, went off the pill and it finally came after a month, October 7th thru11th/12th. Had unprotected sex with my boyfriend the 12th/13th, both a littlw too drunk and forgot to have him pull out twice that night… started back on the pill the 15th. Everything fine and normal until Sunday, noticed some very faint discharge, slightly brownish. By Tuesday, got darker and necessitised a liner/pad and had cramps and today very dark and very thick. No odor to the discharge, no other symptoms besides the one day if cramps and the discharge. And last week and this past weekend, maybe a little too TMI, but turned on as f**k around what was predicted as my ovulation week (no sexy time, sadly, so spent writhing miserably slave to my hormones). Been on and off the pill before since first starting on it 2 years ago (only 20), had similar kinds of "spotting" before when restarting the pill. Only concern now is that I'm now sexually active, unlike the other times. Before trying seasonal this summer, took the pill faithfully everyday since mid-January, both my boyfriend and I are clear of diseases, and I like to believe I am a very healthy person, albeit on the more out of shape side despite how thin I am. Just want to know if I should be concerned about this being aigns if any infections or, god forbid with how bad the timing would be, if I am pregnant and experiencing implantation bleeding. Or maybe I'm just kinda paranoid and it's just normal discharge of old blood or something to that effect. Period should be coming in 12 days, assuming the pill will bring things back to regularity immediately (get the feeling it won't), so waiting another few weeks before an HPT or asking for a blood test; I don't feel like I'm pregnant tho. Would still like to get opinions and get a little peace of mind in the meantime.

You are probably stressing and waiting to see if you get your period, I think you should wait until your period is due, if it doesn't arrive then afterwards take a test, you will be thinking about it constantly if you don't take a test, and it will put your mind to rest if it comes up negative.
