thyroid removal lost voice

I wish I knew the answer. My surgery was 3 weeks ago and I can only whisper.

Thank you! My surgery was over 2 months ago and I now have had a cold for the last 3 weeks and that has really affected my voice, it gets very hoarse in no time. At my 6 week check up , the dr checked my vocal cords with a small magnifyiing apparatus inserted through my nose and down to my vocal cords [OUCH] and said that my vocal cords were not damaged.It still takes effort to talk and my voice still sounds rather flat. Answering the phone and saying hello is the worst as it sounds totally flat and lifeless. Wishing you all the best!
