It is possible for the cold to change the results of the test. Chemical reactions, and that's what it is in the test, slow down as the temp drops.

The tests don't indicate what happens if you wait. Can it affect the accuracy? Yes. You're testing early, do it the way the test specifies EXACTLY and with your first morning urine.

can I ask what the reason is why you can't take the test first thing when you first pee rather than bottling it and doing it later?

Coz i dont live with her and the only way i can come to her place is around noon. I want to be with her while she'll do the test. She'll freak out if she does it herself

Should it be the morning urine for the test??

yes it needs to be the first pee she takes after walking up in the morning as that will hold the highest concentrate of hormone but not sure it will give a true reading if you store it till later though!

Thats a really good thing right? She got her period the 3rd week after she took the pill. As what she describe, she says the flow was medium

It is a good thing Thornz, the medium flow more than anything. There can be bleeding if she was pregnant but it usually light, more of a spotting.

The fact that she got her period is an assurance that shes not pregnant. Am iright?

Sorry to say, but no.

1. She can have some bleeding even if pregnant, it's common early in pregnancy.
2. Plan B can make her period "different."

So, while it appears she may be on her period, if the period is "different" then there is still a chance of pregnancy - you just can't tell. But, having this "period" and a negative home pregnancy test it would be EXTREMELY unlikely that she was pregnant.

I'm not trying to alarm you Thornsz but I just want you to understand that no form of birth control is 100% effective and that just because a woman bleeds it does NOT mean she is not pregnant.
