My rls is in full swing and I'm sluggish. I've tried all home remedies, caffeine etc. I only have amitriptyline 10mg and methocarbamol 500mg. I need something that helps but doesn't make me sleepy. I'm typically opposite, for instance most who take pain meds get drowsy, I don't. Which is greatduring day needing to keep up cleaning for a house of 6 & two little ones trying to keep you busy. I don't abuse pills only take when needed or as prescribed. It's almost refill time but I hate feeling lazy or aggravated by rls which is also in my arms! Thanks for any answers that are helpful! PS rls simple solutions do Not work! Coffee is too much!

Inflammation is believed to be a key factor when it comes to Restless Legs Syndrome.

A new study was published in the January 14, 2012 issue of "Sleep Medicine Review Journal" that supports this theory.

Do a Google search for "Restless Legs" and "Inflammation" and you'll get some really helpful information on how to rid yourself of the problem. The solution is the combination of a proper anti-inflammatory diet and the introduction of natural supplements and key vitamins into your daily life.
