Hi i am 30 years old and we have 2 boy's 8yrs and 2 years, we are trying for another child, with both my boys it happened 1st time, but we have now been trying for 5 months. i have misscarried a few time in the last 8 years. I think we are doing everything right, a no pressure approach, just taking it easy. Have tried the overlation tests but never seem to get a smile face?  Has anyone else had/having  the same problems as us, Should i see my doctor or is 5 months to soon.

Many thanks Guys

Hi Guest,

We don't normally begin to consider fertility issues until a year has passed without success.

Day 1 is when your period starts.  Most women ovulate between days 11 and 16.  Sperm can survive for about 5 days. The egg, 48 hours after ovulation.

The window you should aim for is between about days 6 and 18.  You don't need to have sex every day as the sperm will be waiting.

Good luck, hope it helps.
