Yes and no.
You only can get pregnant around when you ovulate, for about a 48 hour window. The problem is that sperm can survive for about 5 days. So, depending upon how long your period is and when you ovulate it is possible.
Normally you'd ovulate sometime between days 11-16 of your cycle. Day 1 is when it starts. Assuming a 6 day period and then having sex on day 8 of your cycle, if the sperm survives until the 13th and you ovulate before then, it's possible.

That is just a myth. I know people say you can only get pregnant at certain times and never on your period, but I have had 5 pregnancies and all at different times. My last one I conceived on the last day of my period.

If there's no egg you can't get pregnant. On the last one you obviously ovulated early enough that there was still viable sperm.
