Been on Loestrin 24 for the last four months with no serious mistakes or problems. However, this past month I didn't get my next pack in time to start right after the four placebo pills of the last pack; In other words: I finished a pack, took the four placeboes at the end, waited three days and started a new pack. I wound up with four days taking the placeboes and then another three days without taking any pills before I was able to start taking real pills again. I figured I should wait a week or so just to be safe. It's been two weeks, do you think I'll be okay?

You are definitely ok now, if it has been two weeks since you've been on active pills again. First, you have been on the pill for four months so it probably had stopped your ovulation by now, so together with the missed days, it's just like you've been 7 days on placebo pills. But, more importantly, even when you started the pill for the first time, as far as I recall, the warning said that it becomes effective after at least two weeks of regular use, so you definitely should be safe now.
