I do have to admit that I am a complete layperson when it comes to schizophrenia, but I am concerned about a theory I heard that therapy can result in uncontrolled motions. There is a person with schizophrenia in my family and I would like to learn more about this theory, because of that. Any comments would be great.

What do you mean by "therapy"? Are you referring to medication, or therapy with the help of a therapist? And what do you mean by "uncontrolled motions"? I assume that you are talking about spastic muscles? If so, I guess that could only be induced by meds and not by a therapist :-). Any way, I am looking forward to some clarification.
