Well i've been with my boyfriend for 7 months now and were both virgins before we met. Since we met we've obviously had sex. To start with we were doing it like 8 times a night and stuff and it was amazing and never ever hurt me.
I then became quite poorly and was in hospital etc. Medication afterwards the works. Its only been recently that I've stopped taking my medication. During this time because I was on steroids I was liable to pick up thrush which unfortunatly I got.
A few months ago when we began having sex again its never been the same. Its felt like burning and stinging after and sometimes during sex. I wouldn't say its ever majorly hard sex or anything like that. Its not because im not wet enough because we thought that was the problem originally. He makes sure I'm dripping before even attempting to penetrate. Sometimes its ok and it doesnt hurt but others i could cry with pain. Sometimes Its ok during but after it hurts. If at any stage we dont think i'm wet enough then we use some lube but that stings.
My boyfriend's penis is pretty big (around ways) so I just wondered if that was what is causing it or if its this other thing we've been reading about called Vaginismus. HELP ME!! please!
I'm beginning to get upset with it. Its affecting our sex lives so much.

If you are properly lubricated and relaxed the size shouldn't matter so much.
You may have a bacterial infection which is caused from being too clean downstairs. Using perfumed soap, batheing and using shampoo also could be the cause.
I suggest swabs to see whats going on you may have thrush again was your partner treated also when you had thrush if not he could still have it.
