Your balls are supposed to drop when you are a baby.
So both testicles should be in the scrotum from an early age and you should be able to feel both of them in there but the scrotum can be a bit tight making it a little harder to feel for them.
As your testicles grow and become heavier they start to hang lower and this could be what is causing some guys to think they have just dropped.
If you can’t feel both of your testicles in your sack a visit to the doctor is be needed.

Well your friends are probably lieing to sound cool. In reality someone's "balls dropping" is just a metaphor for when someone starts puberty. At no point when your in your teens should your balls literally drop but they may hang lower.
