one of my testicles has 'dropped' but the other is sitting higher than expected and it's smaller

ive recently started going through puberty and I've noticed that one of my testicles has 'dropped' but the other is sitting higher than expected and it's smaller... just out of curiosity is this normal during puberty? One to drop before the other? And one too be smaller and higher?

Hey there how much smaller is your one testis? Is it still in the scrotum but just hangs a little higher than the other ? It is normal during puberty for one to grow a little faster than the other and as the other one catches up and gets heavier it should start to hang lower. Do you have any pain at all or bumps on them? Even as adults it's normal for one to be a little bigger than the other or hang a little lower than the other.

Thankyou, I can't say how much smaller and yeah it's in the scrotum but it's way smaller than my other dropped one..I have no pain and checked for bumps/lumps and nothing has come up to my concern.

Are you able to use a tape measures or ruler to measure your testicles length width and height in centimeters? Do you have any other signs of puberty ?

Ok measurements of your testicles can help estimate your stage of development. How much pubic hair do you have? Do you have any armpit hair? Has your voice chanced at all?

I have a fair amount of pubic hair but hardly any armpit hair and my voice has got a lot deeper. Can you give the statistics for the testicle lengths?

The average adult testicle is around 4 or 4.5 cm by 2cm by 4 or 4.4 cm

How would I measure that? The length between the top of the testicle and the top of skin from that? Or another way?

I would make sure your scrotum is relaxed and loose so it is easy to feel each testicle and then use either a soft measuring tape or a piece of string to measure from the top of one testicle to the bottom of the testicle. Then across the front of one testicle. And the along the side from front to back of one testicle. Does that make sense? Also measure in centimeters if you can
