I hate Hydrocodone studied Meds for two years and for the life of me I much rather take Tylenol # 3 any
day before I puke on Hydrocodan!!! That's what the stupid doctors gave me today!!!! And I have to drive from Miami to New Jersey!!! I can't take this florida anymore!!!!

Thanks for your comment! I too have my PCP at the VA and I'm currently on Tylenol 3 with no relief! My PCP just wrote me a RX for hydrocodone for my neck pain I'm hoping for some relief at least until my surgery! Also I'm allergic to Codeine would you feel OK on elaborating on the reason Vets are allergic to it? Thank You,Mark

Its not prescribed much due to the ibuprophen is very harsh on your stomach and kidneys

I recently had a total hip replacement, spent 3 days in the hospital, then transported to a rehab facility until I could take care of myself. Taking 2 hydrocodone every 4 hours to deal with excruciating pain for 1week, & having a positive outlook, also working with rehab techs, then everything went wrong. Someone didn't renew my medication "contract" & they told me in the middle of the night, 2am, I could take 1 tablet then, the other tablet @6am, but the pharmacy didn't have anymore until @8am when they opened, or sometime later after all the confusion was resolved would I have pain medication other than Tylenol. I can tell you right now a Tylenol is like a Tic Tac compared to a Hydrocodone. I ended up whimpering my self to sleep after hours & hours of oncoming pain as in a passenger train picking up speed headed toward a brick stop. Thankfuly, 2 hrdocodone showed up in my face @8:30a.m. I think is is unfair to blame the victim of such a blunder for being angrily untrusting, leary, & insulted.

I have the same problem as honeybee I can take Hydrocodone but not Tylenol 3. The Tylenol 3 makes me have severe stomach pain.

See NeuroSpine MD & ck for good ones!! Try black cumin seed oil, the stronger the better. Pain meds do not work for nerve pain, nerve impingement; which requires antiinflammatory. Orthop's are bone specialists & should stay out of NeuroSpine issues. Thus the high rate of failed spinal surgeries!!

So sorry that you don't like FL. I was given Hydrocodone by a DR.it made me vary SICK and i stop't using it . Please fined something to help EZ your pain in some way.. But I will say this if your going up to New Jersey from Miami ,FL ... PLEASE Drive safely ..From some one that is in pain must of the time ..You sound like some one that is VARY wise .. IF you don't mined me saying Thank you for your MED REPORT this will HELP Through people out there ...Have a vary nice day out there ..:-) From South East GA ..

"swim" is an acronym for "someone who isn't me." It's generally used when someone wants to tell about a personal experience of theirs or someone they know without actually saying they (or their friend, relative, etc.) personally did such-and-such. It's typically used in reference to using medications in non-prescribed ways or using illegal drugs or doing illegal things. But it could be used also used about things that are just embarrassing or really personal.
