Hi I’m 13 too and haven’t gotten my period yet I’ve had the white fluid stuff for about 6 months and have pubic hair in my probates but not hair under my arms, and I don’t think my breasts have fully developed yet because I’m still in like a training braw. I worried that I won’t get my period, I heard something about a hymen, and I’m worried mine is to big and the blood can’t come out. Bambi can you help me out and explain my situation to give some comfort

When I was around 13 or 14 I started having discharge and it lasted a couple of months and not too long after my period started. you'll sometimes know about it starting because you might get cramps before it starts. I unluckily ruined a pair of underwear (well only for that day!)(I use a special soap under a faucet that takes the blood right out of the panties :) Its called Fels-Naptha) If I were you i'd ask a mom or grandma, aunt or someone that you're close to and comfortable talking to, to help you pick out some pads so you can carry them in a purse or something just in case you start at school. and if you do start at school without one usually the office keeps some. I recommend scented ones. theres also night time ones that are VERY helpful. and once you start it might be a bit of a heavy flow so make sure you get some heavy pads. I don't recommend tampons until you're a bit older. if you have a light flow they also make thinner pad.
Also the discharge thing, it will be pretty frequent. When I first started having it, it would be there all the time to the point I had to start wearing pantiliners every day!!! But it's always best to be safe with that.

You're completely fine :) the blood will get through trust me. Hymens are only a small piece of skin. You'll get your period and it'll take a bit of time. Just if you do get your period try to be prepared and keep a pad with you just in case. I prefer the heavy pads because I had a heavy flow, but you might have to start with a thinner pad to get used to it. and a good investment is overnight pads!!!
