Hi love35. It can be quite normal for periods to be irregular when you first start having them.
The discharge your having is also normal and just your vaginas way of self cleaning, you will find that throughout your monthly cycle the colour and texture of the discharge will change it will go from white when not fertile to clear like egg white when your most fertile. You have nothing to worry about as its all perfectly normal :-)
