Thank you gals sooooo much, i know its just not me! i am 22 years old and ive been on yaz for about 2 months now and i have noticed a change in me. I am an emotional wreck! i cry at the drop of a dime and poor boyfriend smh! I have been thru a lot in the past 4 months (laid off, moved back in with my parents, breast reduction, and job hunting) but i have always been the kind of girl that takes things in stride and keep it moving smh not now! i feel needy, depressed, and anxious, and I miss the old me but this stops today because i took the last of my active pills today and i will not be looking for any other form of birth control. I do want to know if anyone has stopped taking it and how long did it take to get back to "normal"?

I took Yaz for less than a month and ended up in the hospital with a nervous breakdown. I went off immediately. I haven't recovered fully yet, and it has been several months. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get back to normal. This is ruining my relationship, my career, my life. Help!

I'm on my last three Pink pills of yaz 1 pack.. I suffer from PCOS..I've got to say I am too a emotional wreck but the person I'm with thinks my new clinginess means we love eachother more..I don't like it at all I feel jealous over my partners co-workers and so forth. it also makes me pee alot but I don't mind that because it' made me lose weight. However I'm going to continue taking it at least one more month. your putting hormones into your body that your not use to so it's a shock to your system for a bit. I haven't been good at taking it at the same time each day so I've made it worse for myself. I read the paper that came along with it all these side effects are normal. I do believe they will subside. My advise is if you've taken it several months and its stay this way ask your doctor for a new prescription make you sure you don't have sex the first week of the change but if your just on one or two months wait it out. Don't forget to smile lovelys.

i am 33 years old. My ob gyn put me on yaz for acne. I have been on it for 2 months now and my complection is better but I still have large swollen acne mountains on my face and neck. I to am normally a very calm laid back person but since being on yaz am irritable, impatient and mean all the time. I don't even like myself. I need help for my skin but don't know if its worth the mood changes. I was hoping it would go away but I'm thinking maybe not.

I am also on yaz. I began taking it last year in September. It has made me lose a lot of weight and also has made my headaches worse. I am, however, very moody and depressed all the time and I don't know if it the yaz. I know I can be emotional but it has made me so depressed and anxious on a daily basis.

I am enjoying the perks of large breasts and light flows but the emotion that has come along with it is not worth it. I don't know if I should change the pill I'm on because I needed it to regulate my flows initially. I don't know what to do either. The moodiness and depression are terrible.

Have been on Yaz for only a week and am feeling very fatigued, nauseous, and usually eat healthy but have been craving junk. Has anyone else experienced this? Being that its only been a week, do I give it a chance to see if symptoms subside. I am 33 and really need the balance in hormones and control of my horrible menstrual cycle.

My wonderful marriage almost ended in divorce when my dear wife started taking Yaz. She took it for three months and has no been off it for about a month and is slowly returning to her normal self again. I'd rather never have sex again than to see her in the condition that Yaz put her in. It was AWEFUL!

I've been on Yaz for a few months now and I haven't had a real emotional changes. However, around the time that I would be ovulating, my boobs are sore. Last month, it lasted for a day or so. This month, it has been 3 days and counting. The last time I felt like this I had just had mu daughter and my boobs were sore and hard and the other time this happened, I was pregnant. I don't believe that I'm pregnant now, but I don't know what to think. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have been on Yaz for 3.5 years. Yaz killed my sex drive completely. I was grossed out by sex, felt molested. It gave me a dry itchy vag that is prone to infections. The biggest issue is the dizziness and light headedness from the diuretic properties of the drospirenone. My electrolytes are always off and too much potassium makes you feel awful. When I started on this drug I LOVED it. Lost 10lbs right away, and felt great. No side effects. Then I found out it does not play well with wellbutrin and I spent 2 years so light headed I thought I had a brain tumor. Just do yourself a favor and don't even start yaz. After being onnit years I did gain the weight back but I can't tell what it has done to me emotionally, because I already have issues.
