It's not silly.

The symptoms can be treated but there is no cure. Herpes is a virus and can/will remain in your body. Usually it will be dormant there can be flareups.

Get tested.

Hi SA Guy,
Are you sexually active? It could be gonorrhea. It may also be a UTI.
See your doctor, now. At any rate, NO SEX until you are tested and cleared.
Treatment, if it is gonorrhea, is antibiotics.

Bacteria sounds correct to me. This is happening to me. I'm 17 and have never had sex. I went two days without a shower and masturbated without cleaning myself very well and this began to happen.

See your doctor Guest. If it is an infection you need the correct antibiotic to treat it.

Is anyone still on this thread? I just wanna share the same thing. Been burning when urinating these past few days and noticing those yellowish underwear stains. I just tried today to self-examine my penis and there was a yellow pus-like coming out from it when I squeezed the tip. I was extremely shocked since this is the first that I got this gross stuff happening on my penis. I had an anal sex and f**ked her without a condom.. but I'm pretty sure she's safe so I'm wondering why and how the heck this happened! So I thought of another possible cause. Been jobless for over a month now and each day has been a filled with boredom. And this is to admit that not a single day that I did not masturbate since I resigned from work. It would even let me masturbate 4 or even 5x a day at some point. Now, I'm thinking that this pus coming out from my penis is due to excessive masturbation. Based on some articles I just read, that pus is one of the symptoms of Gonorrhea and Chlamydia. But this sign usually comes with pain in testicles and fever but never had them along with the pus. So, now, I'm assuming that this is just an infection due to my bad of masturbating excessively! Lab test and doctor's fee will really burn me more so I'm just trying to ask for your help first. Need to save money.

Hi Taylor,

Pus is a sign of infection. You won't get an infection from masturbating, no matter how often you do it. Not everyone has symptoms with a chlamydia infection - it's called "silent" for a reason. Often there are NO symptoms.

See your doctor to rule out an infection. Yes it costs money but the consequences of your actions can make it cost a LOT MORE money. If it is an infection it can become harder to treat. You could also infect someone else, someone that you care about.

Good luck.

Thanks! I started taking co-amoxiclav yesterday as advised by a nurse friend. I've taken 5 caplets already. I noticed an immediate effect. There's no more pus coming out when I tried to squeeze the tip of my penis when I woke up today. Now, the day is about to end and the whole day has been good due to no more pus thingy. And the burning feeling when I pee? No more! I don't know what to think of, but I' m very much relieved now. What do you think of this whole thing that happened to me? Any further advice?

I just hope your nurse friend tested you to determine what it was that was causing the pus.

For her to just "advise" an antibiotic is not good practice.
