I am 45 years old, female. I am still taking birth control pills. I used to use different brands. Anyway, I became worried that birth control pill can cause early menopause. I mean how I will know that I am in a menopause if I am on birth control pills. Should I stop with pills?
I don’t think that birth control pills will not cause an early menopause. I used birth control pills as a way to control perimenopausal symptoms along with vitamin B as supplement. During this period birth control pills reduced hot flashes and improved my sleep problems. Talk to your doctor about it. I think that he can measure your hormone level to see if you are in menopause.
