It's normal for you to be "turned on" at 16. Your hormones are very high and your body isn't quite sure of how to react to them.
It's perfectly alright and NORMAL for you to be a virgin and to masturbate. Odds are that many of your friends are lying too.
Is it safe to have sex? If you do you risk getting an STD, including HIV/AIDS. You also risk becoming a father. No birth control is 100% effective, none. The only 100% sure way to not get a girl pregnant is not to have sex with her.
Don't rush it. You have lots of time. Save it for someone "special."
