I've weened down to .5mg of suboxone so I'm hoping that helps with the withdrawl. I've tried to get off before at a higher dose and couldn't do it. I took a quarter of a 2mg tab for about two weeks now I'm off.

The chills have already started. The restlessness and fatigue have already started and it's just the first day. The farthest I've made it was 5 days then the chills were just too bad and I went back to taking what I was on previously.

I'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions on medications that help aid in the symptoms. I'm taking a B vitamin complex for the fatigue but it's not doing much. And I'm at a loss for what to do about the chills and sleeplessness and restlessness.

I'd go see my addiction doctor but brilliant me got off over the weekend.
I have two more doses that I can take to get me through the weekend if it gets bad then I'll go see my doc if y'all have any suggestions.

I read somewhere on the forum that certain medicines can help with the withdrawl. I just can't find that thread now. So if you guys could give me any suggestions, that would be great.

Thanks!

Me again...few more questions.

Would Flexeril help with the restlessness. My muscles feel like they can't relax. It's horribly uncomfortable and preventing me from sleeping. Debating on asking my dr for that.

Also, did anyone get mild brain zaps with suboxone withdrawl? It's not constant like when I got off effexor but it's still there at times...

Thanks.

I experienced mild to sometimes severe brain zaps, oddly enough, only while drinking cold liquids, after deciding to stop taking suboxen for good. I don't know why this happens. I'm guessing the brain adjusting to the lack of the drug in your system? The zaps were only severe for about a week, and then on and off after that. Sorry I couldn't help more.
