i recently turned 16 (22 may) and have since had what appear to be 3 periods. i was on for my birthday, that period was regular, then a week later i had a one-day bleed. another bleed began just over a week after that and has so far lasted two days.
i have been having periods for about two and a hlaf years. my flow is not usually very heavy and my periods normally last around 4-5 days. i normally have quite a regular cycle of around 28 days.
i have not had intercourse for over 9 months.
are my extra "periods" really periods? is this a sign of disorder? should i consult my doctor?
