Hello Ladies, I know this discussion is over a year old, but I stumbled upon it while looking for information. I had my LEEP done on Monday, today is Thursday (24 Oct 2013) and I can't stand the stinking smell of the blood that I am expelling. Its brownish and the smell is really intense and bad, however I don't have any pain or itching and it has not yet been a week, so I'm thinking its normal blood. Its a good thing my hubby is away or he would be worried or worse disgusted. I was amused by adidas1023's experience. I was also scared that my legs were shaking in the stirrups well before the gynae had injected my cervix with anaesthetic, which only made the shaking worse since it contains adrenallin. The 'vacuum' sounding machine being switched made me stiffen up in horror of the anticipation of having my flesh swiped off with a metal wire. But I had to be brave and do it for future me's health. I have been sleeping a lot and i'm feeling generally tired. I think I will go and get my hair done to cheer myself up. Thank you for having place to discuss this issue, information is power. I had this procedure last week and now I am having a smelly black discharge, it feels like a period so I have to wear a pad but no pain or cramping. Not sure how long this will last but I have a follow up with doctor in 2 weeks....
