I had the Leep Procedure done two days ago and so far so good. The only pain I really felt was the numbing of the cervix but after that it wasn't that bad. I slept pretty much the whole first day but I think that was just the let down of my emotions after getting myself so worked up to have it done. Now seems to be the hard part. My pap came back abnormal at a stage one. I was scheduled to have the biopsy and the doc decided to look a little higher in the cervix and that test came back and stage two. My question is can the Leep come back actually worse then the other two? I ask the nurse after my Leep and she said, "Yes". I asked the doc after the procedure and he said, "No". Is it possible to have cancer further up in there..say like in the actual Uterus or ovaries that can't be detected by the pap and biopsy? Waiting on these results is no fun at all. It's like I don't want to miss the call but I'm scared to answer it when it comes in. Has anyone else ever had this and could shed some light on it for me?
