hi, my name is brittany, i had the implant removed a week ago after having it for over 2 1/2 years. i always had a irregular period when i was on the implant, sometimes once a month sometimes twice a month. i asked my dr how long it takes to get pregnant after removal she says "if you have unprotected sex, it will happen". i was on my period for the second time this month when i had it removed. my fiance came home from drill duty the next day we have had unprotected sex several times since then. my stomach has been cramping alot for the past few days in my lower abdomen and i felt sick all day yesterday, my boobs do not hurt yet but they never hurt til closer to the end of my first pregnancy with my son. i took a test even though i knew it was early.
i didnt find out i was pregnant with my son until i was 5 weeks, of course i dont remember any cramping before then. i know my period was late then because my brother passed away and i just thought it was stress. 2 months after my brother passed BAM i found out i was 5 weeks pregnant, so this girl strongly believes in the old saying "out with the old, in with the new"
im stressing myself out over this and of course planning a wedding. PLEASE if someone has answers feel free to throw them out there.
