i have to take a single dose of the antibiotic Amoxil, but it will be on the 1st day of my pill free week. will the antibotic affect the pill in anyway? I already skipped my last period as i took two packs back to back, should i need to do this again?

my gf became pregnant when taking the pill and antibotics as it can cancel the pill out so i would be careful if having sex while taking them both!
