Hello, i've done my x-ray examination and it comes with the result: Suspicious densities are noted to left apex. The heart is not enlarged. Diaphragm, sulci and chest bones are intact. Impression: Apicolordotic view is suggested for further evaluation. May i know what does these results means?. Thank you!..

Hi guest,
Normally, HEALTHY lung tissue shows as clear in an x-ray. Suspicious densities indicate a possible infection or scarring.
The apicolordotic view is an x-ray taken from an angle to help better image the tops, the apices, of the lungs.
You need additional tests to determine what they see.
Hope it helps.
