My husband was at the doctor last week, and he came back with a diagnosis of high cholesterol. He acted really surprised but with the lifestyle he has had over the last decade or more, I think anyone would get high cholesterol. He eats and drinks too much, and is a couch potato. Still, he might have to go on medication for his high cholesterol. What do you think of as the best drug for high cholesterol?

You are right when you are saying that a person's habits can lead to high cholesterol. That also works the other way round: someone can lower their high cholesterol by living and eating healthily, and moving more. Sometimes we do need medical help for high cholesterol, and statins are proven to be the most effective drugs for high cholesterol.
