OMG me too.

i am 14 and i came back from the gym and felt really sick and fatigued. i went for a shower and after a while my arms started to really hurt. i had to get out of the shower and then i went almost completely blind!

i made my way blindly to my bed and my vision came back after 2 minutes lying down. i get light headedness and spots in my vision when i stand up all the time too...

is that also low blood sugar?

I'm 16 and this happened to me today for the first time. I was in a jacuzzi and started to feel very nauseous. I thought it could've been me overheating so I went to the bathroom. Then the vision in my eyes turned white and i started to lose my hearing and thought I was going to pass out. I went to tell my friend's parents and they told me to sit down and gave me ice water. Within 2 or 3 minutes my vision and hearing came back. I guess it had to do with dehydration or just being overheated. But this was the first time it has ever happened to me.

hello! this has happened to me too about a week ago and it did have something to do with low blood pressure dropping dramatically or something? i was very shaky as well and this has never happened to me however, so i went to the hospital immediately. nothing had been given to me and i guess it was some sort of attack. the doctor said if you EVERRR feel this way, go lie down immediately with your legs up. hope this helped!!

I'm 19 and I've been experiencing a similar feeling. Whenever I'm standing for long periods of time or get up after sitting down for a while, my vision fades to white and I can't hear anything until I sit down. Then I feel dizzy and hear a high pitched ringing noise until my vision and hearing come back. It takes about 30 seconds. I've been tested for low blood sugar and turned out fine but then they tested my iron levels and found out I'm anemic. You may not necessarily be anemic, but you could have some kind of iron deficiency. Try eating more broccoli and red meat.

HAVE ANY OF YOU BEEN EXPOSED TO MOLD? IN YOUR HOME AT WORK OR OUT AND ABOUT. I had the same things happening for quite awhile everytime getting worse and i have a bad mold infection in my body from my old apartment. I advise to get a mold test from home depot or family hardware there $10 and put it out at work or home and see if anything grows. I'm allergic to penicillion and my mold came back with penicillium. everyone should look into this it can be serious and fatal. Takes going to a allergist to get treatment not a regular doctor they will never be able to tell you whats wrong.

I'm 15 and have the same symptoms so my dr said it was either cause to an environmental/altitude change, low blood sugar, dehydration, or just sickness. So he recommend always drinking water and trying to stay in normal conditions without any rapid altitude changes like going to the mountains or possibly going underground to the subway where there might be thinner or less air. But definitely go to your dr and get checked out it could be something serious.

I'm 19 and this happened to me for the fifth time today, and four out of the five times it happened to me in the shower where it's already a little harder to breath. When it's happening, drinking cold water helps a lot, but I've found a pattern: Besides the first time (which was not in the shower), it's happened when I ate a really early dinner or no dinner the night before. I always shower when I wake up, so on weekends I sleep later, and getting in the hot shower after not eating for that long usually makes it happen. The fact that I gave blood the other day probably didn't help. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't happen if I eat before my shower or eat a snack later the night before.

And yah, it's definitely very scary to look in the mirror and see your face and lips white as snow.

Hey,
I was just reading up on this because it happened to me for the second time about an hour ago.
I'm 17 and female btw.
Yeah, so the first time it happened I was in the shower.
My symptoms were nausea, complete blindness and complete loss off hearing, this all lasted about 10-15 minutes. When My sight and hearing came back I had this sort of white noise that didn't go away for about an hour.
I had been drinking the previous night and thought it may have been from that or the hot water in the shower.

The second time it happened (today), the symptoms were all the same except shorter lived, except now I have a sort of pain in my chest.
It was really awkward because it happened mid conversation with a lady dropping off a package at my house. :s

I'd just really like to know what it is and whether it's something to be concerned about. :)

Today I was brushing my teeth. Then I felt a little weird, and I thought It was just because I needed something to eat so I walkd over to the kitchen and then I got a little light headed and my vision went blurry and then dark and I couldn't see anything I walked into the living room by holding onto the walls and I i still couldn't see anything. I seriously stared to freak out sense I was home alone, I thought I was dying.

Then I closed my eyes really tight and opened them and I could see again it was still a little blurry but that faded off. Then my ears were kind of ringing after.
