Today was the first day of soccer practice at my junior high and about 20 minutes into practice I started to feel kinda light headed. I thought nothing of it and continued playing. Then my ears started ringing and my vision went a little brighter than normal; like someone turned contrast up to 100%. I kept playing for a while then it got worse. Everything was white, I could barely hear, and my balance was gone. I had my friend lead me to our water area and find me my water bottle. I felt like i was going to faint. I then chugged it and lied down and felt better in about 5-10 minutes. I still have a slight headache and I feel kinda weird, but this happened about 30 minutes ago. What do I do? Is this really bad? I'm 13, female. (This has happened a couple times (not recently until today))

Hi Guest,

It could be really "bad."  You may have an underlying condition that caused this, maybe heart problems.

BUT, it could also be due to something less serious.  It could have been the heat or dehydration - that can be serious too.

You really DO need to see your doctor and get checked out.

Take care of yourself!  It doesn't help your team mates if you get hurt or sick while playing.

Hope it helps.
