How long will it take for this medication to make a change in blood pressure? And how long should I wait before telling Dr. ?

I was on drugs to raise my blood pressure for a year and never had any change, so talk to your dr no matter what

The blood pressure medication, a diuretic, should begin working in a matter of days, a week at the most. If you don't see any improvement (assuming you are measuring your own blood pressure) within 2 weeks you might want to give your doctor a shout. Diuretics may not work for you.
