I am really worried and I don't know what this is.i had brown stuff on my pants and I have been changing my pants each time I saw it. I has been happening for a few days and I told my mum today and she said she thinks I am about to start my periods and told me to put a pad underneath.but I am still worried am I really starting my periods and I don't have any pain either.

I'd get used to this if I was you, you have a lot more to come and it wont be pretty. With my 1st period I had streaks of red blood in my pants a few months before I started and then I had my 1st period full on. The brown discharge is old blood so this is the start of your periods and they usually last for about 3-6 days and don't always come with pain as mine didn't. You just need to wear a mini pad as the brown discharge could turn red and come when ever without warning so if you're going out then wear a mini pad and take others with you just incase it happens when you're out.

It could start anytime without any warning, I only ever got a little belly ache for about 5minutes a week before I started each period and nothing when I did. Everyone is different and get different signs.
