I had the shots for 4 moths and I stopped it on July of 2015. After the 3 months I stared to get joint pain and some neurological symptoms like muscle twitching and a few other things. It has been 4 moths that I've stopped the shots and I still have the symptoms. They come and go. I just got a cold virus and all the joint and muscle pain is coming back. I did some blood worck done and everything was normal. I wonder what in the world have happened to me. I wish I new about the sides effects of the shots. I would have never had them.

Hate to break it to you but you're just getting old. And you lift weights which have more of an affect on your joints than allergy shots do. My advice: stop trying to find a scapegoat. Get a grip!

Yes, I suddenly became allergic to mushrooms during my shot regimen! It's the WORST.

I started weekly allergy shots after having the rush immunology thing. Each time I felt tingly in my forehead and arm and shoulder; down my back. Yesterday, was my 3rd shot I get 4 shots at once) and I got tingly right away in my forehead. Then, tingly sensation down the left side of my back and leg and shoulder. Then, I got tingly in my face and experienced numbness on my left side of the face; almost as if I had a shot of novocain; even my left eye felt numb. Has this ever happened to anyone? I read on this site that someone got a form of ALS which his doctor said was triggered my the mold toxin. This is scaring me.

I can't believe I'm reading all these comments, its like I wrote them!! Allergy shots for two years, stopped them because I was feeling great, like I didn't need allergy shots anymore. 6 months after that...BOOM! allergies came back with a VENGEANCE worst than ever in my life, causing blepharitis, eyelashes falling out, I mean, it was horrible for months! Went back and dr convinced me to go back on shots. He said once on shots, you can't stop because it will make it come back worse, since your immunity to the allergens are way weaker (similar to stopping antibiotics after years of use, you build up an immunity towards the antibiotic and it won't work anymore). So I had to start all over again with the shots from the beginning. Ive been on the shots now for 3.5 yrs total, one in each arm. My arm would swell up like a baseball but since it went away within 24hrs, they said it was fine... I didn't like that so I switched up and started getting the two shots in each hip. I've suffered with leg tingling, numbness, neck pain, tingling down arms all the way to fingers, everything you guys are describing, didn't even think it was related to shots but now i know it is definitely the allergy shots! The lady giving me the shots told me they definitely could be causing the tingling down the legs.

So glad I found this. I've been having major joint pain, flu like symptoms, major fatigueand just recently realized it all coincides with the allergy shots. Has anyone found relief? Just stopping them? If so, what have you used to help with allergies that is effective? I'm miserable without them as well. So bad I lost my sense of taste and smell for a year until doctor realized I had allergies, even I didn't know.

I completely stopped the shots as soon as I realized they were causing my symptoms. I've resigned myself to taking fexofenadine for the rest of my life, unless they come out with a different kind of treatment. I keep hearing about allergy "drops" that they use in Europe and may be coming to the US soon - I would give those a try if they are in a different carrier than the shot serum.

You don't get these symptoms in the list if no one reports them. These shots are not new. So trials happened a long time ago. If the doctors haven't heard of these symptoms and they don't report them, they won't end up on the symptom list. Doctors rarely report things anymore. Too busy and too dumb. Doctors are dumbing down as we need more of them. There just aren't enough smart people in society to fill all the positions. So dumb is the new smart. Go team!

I have these symptoms too! Have to take something for my achy joints and feel feverish for a couple of days. But, allergies are better.

My girlfriend had muscle pain for months. Eventually she tied it to the allergy shots she was getting. Stopping the shots didn't help. However, she started taking Benadryl every night and within days she has had a remarkable recovery.

It has only been a few days on Benedryl but it seems to counter the effects of the allergy shots on her muscle pain.

My understanding is that elimination is what is necessary for foods and th shots are for environmental allergens. I that the case.
