I think that cortizone injections do not lower testosterone count. Cortizone injections are used to reduce inflammation and swelling in a joint or area of the body and have no direct effect on testosterone levels.
If a person has a low testosterone count, they should consult their doctor to discuss potential causes and treatments. It is possible that your reaction is related to something else.

I and 64 years old. I had two cortisone shots, one in each shoulder, for rotator cuff tears, in May 2023 and again in May 2024. Both times I have experienced very low sex drive, problems with erections, malaise, raspy voice and other symptoms. I am very active exercising, eating healthy and was feeling great before both shots. My testosterone was at 511 in November in 2023 and was at 111 in May 2024. My doctor has said Low T and ED are not side effects of cortisone, however I am convinced that cortisone is my the problem. In 2023, it took me about 3 months to get back to a new "normal". I am still working on getting through the shots in 2024. No more cortisone for me!
