Something strange is going on these days and I am not completely sure, what. I got gabapentin as adjuvant therapy. I am taking my pain killer, too. Everything was OK. But yesterday I almost choke with food. At first I thought that it was just accident, but it happened again. Can Gabapentin cause problems with swallowing?

Choking of difficulty swallowing is not common side effect of gabapentin, but it does occur, sometime. Since you had repeated chokings, I think that you need to see your doctor as soon as possible and tell him or her all about that. That thing can happen while sleeping and can be dangerous.
