YES YOU CAN HAVE ANAL ANYTIME AFTER C-SECTION, AS LONG AS YOU ARE UP TO IT! I ASKED THE DOC THIS QUESTION WHEN THE MRS. WASNT AROUND!

8-| It isn't always just the man that wants the intimacy. XD
It depends upon each person's general sexual wants or sexual drive. Both my wife and I are wanting. As we usually would have intimate moments on average of twice a week before having our 2nd child. Granted when our 1st would give us that time. :'(
In fact she brought the idea up regarding an ulterior approach :-D I'll admit, the idea crossed my mind, but I am a gentleman and am more then accepting of the wait, I can only imagine the pain she dealt with & is dealing with. Of course there is falacial, and there is obviously an alternative for a man, we ALL learned it young :$ and if you say other wise, your a liar. ;-)
But the fact remains those forms of pleasure are all in the mans favor, what about the woman, if we're going to be intimate I want to please my wife, the sex just isn't as good for me unless she enjoys it too. (Yes I'm pretty sure I can feel the difference of a real orgasm vs. a fake, AND I'm willing to ask when I don't feel the effects) I like the feeling of falacial, but it doesn't compare to the real deal.
So then this is were the problems consist. We're both willing to try the alternative, but we've heard that any orgasm the woman experiences can cause, problems and or pain. Is this true? We'll be talking with the Dr tomorrow about this, I'll post what he says after.

Well, we went to the Dr (Our Surgical Dr that performed the C Section) this morning, and found out some specifics.
(obviously) First and foremost She said no vaginal intercorse (duh) no vaginal masterbation. Then She went on to say the reasons behind it, I'm sure you all know why. She went on from there to say that if my wife does experience an orgasm that she needs to try to relax her stomach, groin, and vagina. Bottom line, our Dr is a modest woman :$ for one, and for two didn't out right condone it but didn't dismiss it.
I'll start this off with I am NOT a Dr. I do NOT know if it would be alright for everyone. Your Dr. is a trained professional and still your best source of information regarding YOUR medical well being.
That being said, I should note that my wifes scar is nicely healed, (our daughter was born the 19th, happy healthy and quieter then our first) my wife is 17 days post c section. (depending upon how well your scar is healing) Our Dr said that mainly at this point for us we need to be cautious of causing a hernia.
Bottom line, if you do want to have anal intercourse after a c section, you need to be healthy enough. Meaning your scar tissue needs to have healed. You, need to be relaxed and comfortable. You need to take it slow. In other words, it's risky.
Personally after hearing this from the Dr, we're going to wait awhile longer, and I'm ok with that. I love my wife and I'm more then willing to wait. Plus, when it comes down to it, when I hit puberty, I waited 3 years before I got lucky, if I was able to wait 3 years then 6 weeks is nothing.

I don't know about anal but I had a C-section and as long as your incision site can handle it have all the sex you want...I was young and had sex the day I got home from the hospital with my daughter which was about 48 hours after her birth.

EW EW EW! And I don't mean to the anal sex, I'm fine with that. You people that had sex the day you got home or two weeks after, that is gross. You just had a baby even by c-section. Your body needs to heal and you should wait and let it. Taking care of that baby is way more important than sex! Not to mention that fact that you are still bleeding, not period bleeding.. But just had a baby bleeding. Geez get your priorities straight. Wait the 6-8 weeks to recover and then try having sex, anal or otherwise. But give your body some time to heal.

Although this is an old topic, I wanted to relay information I read at a medical website (although I don't remember which). It basically said that if you should wait the same amount of time before having anal sex as vaginal after either a c-section or vaginal delivery. So, if your doctor says six weeks, as is often the case, that applies to both vaginal intercourse as well as anal intercourse,

I had a c section almost 4 weeks ago and am still in considerable pain :'( . I am a very sexually needy person ;-) so last night I had anal sex for the second time since I had the baby and this time I think it got a little too rough o.O and hurt my belly a great deal which is why I looked the question of how long to wait in the first place. The only reason I am responding is that I can't get over the fact that someone said they had sex when they came home from the hospital XD . There is no way in hell she did and didn't nearly die unless her man is the size of a baby carrot 8-| but even then it is also the movement that causes the abdominal pain :'( . I think who ever posted that statement is full of c**p and really giving some people a false sense of how painful having a baby is. >;)

Old thread, I know. I waited 2 weeks, but I didn't have a c-section. It hurt like a ... the first time. Took 3 times for it to stop hurting so much and go back to normal. I waited just over 4 weeks for vaginal sex to resume. I think it hurt more. It still hurts (10 weeks pp) sometimes while anal does not.
