I have to deal with menstrual pain and cramps every month and that Is not something to be satisfied with. I am taking birth control pills and I have to start taking something for the pain. I think about Ibuprofen but I know those are not that light drugs so my question is – can Ibuprofen have an effect on birth control pills?

I think that whatever drug you want to take along with the birth control pills you have to inform your doctor, because there is a great possibility of lessening the effect of those BC pills. As for non steroidal drugs, they can decrease menstrual cramps and pain, but you should stop using it as soon as the problem is gone.
