I need help! I have recently dramatically changed my diet in the way that as of last month I stopped taking diet pills. I had taken diet pills just about everyday two to for times a day for 9 years. NOw that I have stopped taking diet pills I have switched to taking vitamins (like 9 different types) every day or every other day. I am now 8 days late for my period and I don't want to be pregnant. I took a test and it said that I was negative. I am still freaking out. Is it possible that I am just super late?

Well, if you have been taking diet pills for nine years every day and now you stopped, I don’t think that your late period is so much to blame on the vitamins. You didn’t say which kind of diet pills were you using or whether you managed to lose weight, but a major change like this one could definitely be the reason for your late period. And, to say this again, you should be careful with vitamins – you can overdose on them like you can on many other things and there is only few essential vitamins that you need to take daily. So, if you are making this big change in your life, why not make the right choices and choose carefully what you need.
