Sorry to break it to you but you actually can get STD's from being fingered. If there is an open cut or something on his finger fluids can get transmitted to you. Its scary. Most STD's live for around a minute in the open air. So if he goes on your sheets and you accidently sit in it then you might have a problem. Also, keep in mind that just because you cant see it doesnt mean its not there. If you help him masterbate then wipe it off and put his penis in your mouth youre at risk again. The only real way to be safe while sexually active is to get the both of you tested BEFORE having sex. For everything. AIDS sometimes takes a while to show on tests.
