I'm having bog problems with my vaginal yeast infections.
Not only that I have difficulties in controlling these infections but I get them pretty often.
The thing is that this Candida hit me almost every month at the same time- just before my period.
I was trying to treat it with some Canesten cream and it was helpful at the beginning but now- it is almost useless. I don’t know what to do now. A friend has recommended me this new type of this medication called Canesten pessary and I was hopping that someone could tell me more about it. Are there any side effects!? Thanks.

Hello. I have just read your post and I think I know what is going on with you. You see, just before your period starts your immunity weakens a bit and that’s why you get these infections.
You see, the Canesten cream didn’t help you because the infection is deeply localized. Canesten pessary is made to work deep in vagina.
Insertion of the pessary into the vagina should provide you the enough medication for 24h. It is much more effective.
What's good about all this- the symptoms of thrush should disappear within three days of treatment. Most common side effects are irregular vaginal bleeding, abnormal vaginal bleeding or a blood-stained discharge, ulcers, blisters or sores of the vagina or vulva but they occur very rarely.

The symptoms for thrush and Herpes are very similar. One in eight people has genital herpes. Please go to a doctor - it could be co-incidence, but do you really wanna take the risk? A visual check, swab or blood test may be required to confirm it was just a result of of the thrush treatment.
