Is there a connection between using celebrex and gaining weight? I truly suspect that celebrex is causing me weight gain. Well, as I have read, weight gain is one of great number of expected side effects of celebrex. Is your weight gain associated with swelling? Better discuss it with your physician. I was on celebrex not long ago but discontinued with it because of numbness and weakness that it caused. I have switched on another nsaid, which my doctor prescribed me.

I gained 15 pounds since taking Celebrex without increasing food intake and with increased exercising. Weight gain makes mr uncomfortable. Stopping Celebrex and will use ascriptin until I see my arthritis dr.
