i was diagnosed in april of 1990 with a compression fracture at T9. This was due to several blows to the top of the head with 75-125 pound pallets. and i have had 15-60 day long head aches periodically since then. However in October of 2008 the headache grew to become severe enough to cause me to find difficulty in daily functions of my life. along with the head pain came a loss of function of my neck. as i stood in my living room one evening i turned to look at my 6y/o whom i thought had fallen into a table corner, as i turned my head to see my neck crunched and i fell to the floor, momentarily loosing all leg functions. as i began pulling myself back up to the couche i realized that my headache had lessened. 12/31/2008 i woke up rolled out of bed and fell to the floor as i tried to stand. my right leg was not working well at all. i managed to hold the walls and furniture to keep me upright enough to get downstairs to my chair. i have always been a relatively physically fit individual, and when the dr said let my boy walk instaed of an occasional shoulder ride my boy as well as myself were torn. i continued to do my job as a machinist, hobbling throughout the shop and having great pain in my head and neck until 2-12-2009 when i could not take the discomfort any longer. and 3-10-2009 i went in for c6-c7 fusion surgery. i woke with out a headache, and began to walk again immediately. so joyous a day it was i walked over 3 miles only hours after i woke from the operation. everything had been wonderful and i have seen life through much clearer eyes since that day, then the radiating pain from my bicepts to my fingertips came back, the discomfort in my arms and hands started a week ago and was only happening after i lay down to sleep. today i am having the discomfort and coldness like no other day.
could this be a post op issue or am i just being paranoid? ?

Hi George, I don't think that you'r enecessarily being paranoid. It sounds to me like what you're describing could potentially be an issue and would be, in my opinion, worth a look. When would you be able to see a surgeon or doctor about this?
