My wife has been in pain now for over 3 weeks.  It started with a stiff sore neck and headache.  Then sore neck, shoulders and numbness in her right arm.  The last week she said it felt like the back of her head, shoulders and neck feel bruised and painful. Yesterday she started having sharp stomach pains.  Today she has a bad sinus-like headache and she has been vomiting for the last 6 hours or so.
She has been to a spine specialist, a neurologist, two ER visits, had xrays, and MIR of her neck, an MIR of her head, blood work and the only diagnosis was from the neurologist saying it was more than likely Meningitis.  At yesterdays ER visit they said she had no symptoms that pointed to Meningitis.  We have also heard..."it is just viral, just keep taking pain meds and wait it out".
If anyone has any advice Please help, she has taken steroids and has been on pain meds now for close to a month and is not showing any signs of getting better.  We are at a loss as to what to do.

I had the exact same thing in 2008 and took a year to go away. Now it is coming back again 6 years later with exact same symptoms.
