Be patient and be gentle.
You will find that more often than not, girls are quite nervous about their first time- I know I was. Some of them bleed and some of them don't - I didn't bleed but it DID hurt a bit initially. My boyfriend was gentle and considerate and it only hurt for about five seconds and then the pain went away. Use a LOT of lube - making it comfortable for your girlfriend should be the priority here, not keeping your sheets clean.
FOREPLAY is extremely important - again, go slowly and make sure she's 100% comfortable with what you're doing.
And if at ANY time she tells you to stop, then stop. Don't pressure her into ANYTHING as that will do more harm than good to her and your relationship.
