Osteomyelitis is manifested as an infection of bone and bone marrow and can be subdivided into acute, subacute, and chronic stages. There are three stages of this condition, but some patients don’t undergo all these stages. Chronic osteomyelitis is described as a severe and persistent of bone and bone marrow. It is not possible to cure it completely, so it keeps reoccurring like with other muscle-bone diseases. Acute osteomyelitis may become chronic. It can have hematogenous origin, be trauma related, be jatrogenic initiated, meaning it’s a consequence of some other disease or induced by some bacteria.

first, start feeding your father with a better nutrition intake plan. For example, vitamins, lots of protein, and garlic (boosts up your immune system) wouldn't hurt. It all starts with a healthy nutrition, it will take time, but it'll work. ;-)
