Esophagitis seems to be such a broad category with a variety of contributing factors. I have a case of eosinophilic esophagitis that is associated with food and/or environmental allergies. As there are such few foods that I am allergic to, and my environmental allergies are so high, I am concluding more and more that it is a combination of both. I think in my case my high mold allergies are predisposing me to this development, as I have not known until recently that there are a variety of foods I should avoid because of a mold allergy, such as cheese and mushrooms.

Strong smells and environmental pollution almost instantly causes wheezing and the inflammation I already have to inflame even more. It is very interesting and sucks just as much. I think its real important to get to the root of the causes, particularly for someone like myself who is a nonsmoker in her late 20's and of a healthy weight. These conditions only get worse if left untreated without any causes determined.
